Pension freedoms three years on

In 2015 George Osborne, then the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, decided that those age over 55 could take much more of their pension in cash. This has since opened up a range of possibilities for DC scheme members in the world of pensions. As such, sponsors and trustees have an important role to play in deciding what options to make available to members and how much member support should be in place.

In this guide we set out the results of Aon's 2018 Member Options Survey which covers 300 DB schemes and the actions they have been taking in response to the new pension flexibilities.
